 THE THOMAS LUTSEY-WASEDA FARMS SCHOLARSHIP: offers scholarships to students who in interested in pursuing occupations in agriculture, veterinary medicine, animal science or similar programs that will enhance rural communities.  THE WISCONSIN CATTLEMEN AND CATTLEWOMEN ASSOCIATION offers both scholarships and grants to students with a background in the beef, veal or dairy industry to pursue an education at any accredited college, tech school, or UW Madison Agricultural Short Course program.  WISCONSIN PORK ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP:  Is open to high school seniors pursuing post high school education in agriculture.  Preference will be given to those students possessing leadership abilities and a sincere interest in the swine industry.  Five finalists will be selected from the applications received to compete for the $500.00 scholarship, with each finalist receiving $250.00 for their participation.  An interviewing committee will select the finalists.  For more information go to:

AB NICHOLAS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION: will offer scholarships to approximately 60 Wisconsin public and private high school graduates based on need, academic achievement and character.  The annual scholarships $10,000 for four-year programs and $5000 for two-year programs--are renewable for the length of the program. THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF AUTOMATION (ISA) offers $1500 and $2500 scholarships to students pursuing a degree in automation or process control at any accredited college. THE DREAM POOL FOUNDATION offers the Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Art Scholarships.  There will be one $2000.00 scholarship, two $2000.00 scholarships and two $1000.00 scholarships this year.  Scholarships will be awarded to students who attend an accredited college and major in an Art program, including Art Therapy. Health Careers

DIVINE SAVIOR HEALTHCARE offers many scholarships to students planning to attend college to pursue a degree in a healthcare related field.  Applications are available in the College and Career Center.
 MAPLE LEAF DENTISTRY SCHOLARSHIP:  To be eligible a student must be attending school at the undergraduate level in the fall of 2017 and can be enrolled in any year of their undergraduate program.  High school seniors who will graduate in 2017 are considered eligible.  If you are attending a trades and/or technical school, the program must be at least 2 years in length or longer.  Must have done at least 100 hours of volunteer work over the last 2 years.  Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in their last academic year.  Applications can be found at:

The program is competitive.  Scholars are selected on the basis of academic performance, financial need, school and/or community participation, compelling personal or family circumstances, work experience, and statements of educational goals and impact of MS on the applicant's life.

Community Service

THE KOHL'S CORPORATION offers scholarships ranging from $1000 to $5000 in their Kohl's Kids Who Care scholarship program. You must be nominated by someone 21 years of age or older. Nominations must describe how the student has contributed to their community in a meaningful way by performing volunteer services. Nominations must be placed at: 

 STEPHEN J. BRADY SCHOLARSHIP:  Open to High School students.  Applicants must have demonstrated on-going commitment to their community by performing unpaid volunteer services impacting hunger in the United States within the last 12 months.  Added consideration is given to students working to fight childhood hunger.  Volunteer services must be helping non-family member.  Applications can be found at:

 GE-REAGAN FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM:  This program annually awards up to 20 college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with $10,000 renewable scholarships.  Applications for this scholarship can be found online at :

ROGERS COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER SCHOLARSHIP:  $500 scholarship, to be eligilble you must be attending school on a full-time basis during the fall of 2017 and be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at any level.  Additionally, you must have contributed a minimum of 10 hours of non-paid, volunteer service within your community during the last 12 months and have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or greater.  Applications can be found at:

TALENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM GRANTS (TIP):  The TIP grant provides grant assistance to the most needy and educationally disadvantaged resident students attending eligible colleges and universities in the State of Wisconsin.  The grant is designed to: Improve the opportunity for access, retention, and graduation and to lessen the burden of student debt.  The criteria that determine an individual applicant's elgibility for the grant is WI resident, first time college freshman and meet one need and disadvantaged student criteria. 

HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIP:  If integrity, determination and courage describe you - you have what it takes to be a Horatio Alger Scholar.  Our scholarships reward students who possess the character to succeed in life.  We help students overcome the financial barriers of pursuing higher education.  To qualify, you must have at least a 2.0 GPA and require financial assistance to go to college.  THE AMERICAN LEGION ORATORICAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM: Do you have students who are interested in speech or forensics?  How about students interested in our nation's government?  The American Legion High School Oratorical Scholarship Program is "A Constitutional Speech Contest" which presents participants with an academic speaking challenge that teaches important leadership qualities, the history of our nation's laws, the ability to think and speak clearly, and an understanding of the duties, responsibilities, rights and privileges of American citizenship. Miscellaneous Scholarships

HAGAN SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION:  The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide, need based, merit scholarship for high achieving students who will require financial assistance in order to attend college.  These students will graduate from a public high school located in a county in the United States having fewer than 50,000 residents.  Three hundred fifty scholarships can be awarded each year.  Go to: for more information or stop in at the College and Career Center.   DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 15, 2017

THE LEONARD & LILLIAN BETHKE TRANSPORTATION SCHOLARSHIP offers one full-tuition ($10,000) scholarship to any student accepted full-time in MSTC's Automotive Technician or Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technician program next fall. For more information or to apply go to:

MID-STATE FOOTBALL & CHEERLEADING CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP FUND: All eligible applicants must: Complete at least one year in a Mid-State program, Be accepted into an accredited college and plan to attend in the fall of the year the scholarship is awarded and Complete an essay.  This is all done on paper and you can get your application in the College and Career Center. DEADLINE: APRIL 16, 2018

TRYTTEN SCHOLARSHIP FROM UW-STEVENS POINT: Awarded to an incoming freshman who intends to major in Chemistry at UWSP.  To qualify you have to declare chemistry as your major at UWSP at the time of application,  you have received at least a 3.50 GPA in high school,  have demonstrated capacity and potential for excellence in the field of chemistry.  You can pick up an application in the College and Career Center -or- a PDF version of the application is available on the UWSP Chemistry Department

DELTA THETA SIGMA SCHOLARSHIP HOUSE:  Is offering housing and academic scholarships to high school seniors that will be attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  You can get the information about this in the College and Career Center.  The application is electronic and is available:

ESSAY INVOLVED SCHOLARSHIPS                                                                                                                

LA TUTORS 123:  We award a $500 Innovation Scholarship each month to students who showcase their creativity in a new exciting way to make a positive impact - whether it's setting a world record to raise money for cancer research or becoming an activist for a worthy cause.  Currently enrolled students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 should submit an essay describing the innovative project and provide supporting documentation (, new article, letter of recommendation, etc.)  All submissions are due by the 20th of each month.

WISCONSIN SCHOOL COUNSELOR ASSOCIATION:  In partnership with Career Cruising & Method Test Prep, has established the WSCA High School Scholarship Program to assist students with their post-secondary education.

WISCONSIN STATE TELECOMMUNICATIONS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP:  One time scholarship of $500 or $1500 to a student who is attending a 2 year technical college.  Go to:

WISCONSIN TOWNS ASSOCIATION:  The Wisconsin Towns Association, Rural Mutual Insurance Company, and Scott Construction, Inc. will be awarding $7000 in scholarships to high school seniors graduating in 2018 The winners are determined by independent judging of an essay contest.  Information available in the College and Career Center or go to: DEADLINE; MAY 31, 2018

FOREST COUNTY POTAWATOMI COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP:  Wisconsin Technical School or College Associates Degree Program: Must live in Wisconsin, Must have a high school diploma or GED by fall 2018, must be accepted as a first-year full-time(12 credits) or part-time (6 credits) degree-seeking student at an accredited Wisconsin technical school or college, must have a minimum 2.25 GPA and must demonstrate leadership. 
Wisconsin University/College Undergraduate Degree Program: All of the above criteria except you must have a minimum GPA of 2.5.  Other requirements: High school transcript, letter or recommendation (1), Two personal essays and list of extra curricular activities, employment history, and school/community honors.  DEADLINE: MARCH 16, 2018
