THE ADAMS COUNTY MASTER GARDNERS ASSOCIATION: offers scholarships to any senior who is planning to pursue a career in Agriculture and Applied Economics, Agricultural Education, Agronomy, Botany, Entomology, Forest Science, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Plant Pathology, Soil Science or wildlife Ecology. You must be an Adams County resident, have a GPA of 3.0 or above and have performed at least 25 hours of community service in the past 2 years to be eligible.  THE THOMAS LUTSEY-WASEDA FARMS SCHOLARSHIP: offers scholarships to students who in interested in pursuing occupations in agriculture, veterinary medicine, animal science or similar programs that will enhance rural communities.  WISCONSIN PORK ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP:  Is open to high school seniors pursuing post high school education in agriculture.  Preference will be given to those students possessing leadership abilities and a sincere interest in the swine industry.  Five finalists will be selected from the applications received to compete for the $500.00 scholarship, with each finalist receiving $250.00 for their participation.  An interviewing committee will select the finalists.  For more information go to:  www.wppa.org  

 
WHITMORE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP:  Applicants must be a registered junior or senior at one of the following University of Wisconsin Campuses:  Madison, Platteville, or River Falls.  This is a $500.00 scholarship and priority will be given to applicants pursuing an Animal Science or closely related major, with each finalist receiving $250.00 for their participation.  The criteria considerations include GPA (Applicant should be in the top one-third of their class) extracurricular activities involvement and leadership positions, career interest and orientation, and financial need.  Individuals wishing to receive a copy of the scholarship application can contact Wisconsin Pork Association at 1-800-822-7675 or via email at: tvaassen@wppa.org

AB NICHOLAS SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION: will offer scholarships to approximately 60 Wisconsin public and private high school graduates based on need, academic achievement and character.  The annual scholarships $10,000 for four-year programs and $5000 for two-year programs--are renewable for the length of the program. TALENT INCENTIVE PROGRAM GRANTS (TIP):  The TIP grant provides grant assistance to the most needy and educationally disadvantaged resident students attending eligible colleges and universities in the State of Wisconsin.  The grant is designed to: Improve the opportunity for access, retention, and graduation and to lessen the burden of student debt.  The criteria that determine an individual applicant's elgibility for the grant is WI resident, first time college freshman and meet one need and disadvantaged student criteria.

LA TUTORS 123:  We award a $500 Innovation Scholarship each month to students who showcase their creativity in a new exciting way to make a positive impact - whether it's setting a world record to raise money for cancer research or becoming an activist for a worthy cause.  Currently enrolled students with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 should submit an essay describing the innovative project and provide supporting documentation (e.g.website, new article, letter of recommendation, etc.)  All submissions are due by the 20th of each month.
