Welcome to Adams Friendship Middle School. My name is Michelle Johnson, and I have been working for the Adams-Friendship Area School District for the past 18 years. Prior to my role as the AFMS Principal, I was the Principal of Grand Marsh Elementary, District RtI Coordinator, and a 6th grade middle school teacher. My time, living and working in our community has been very rewarding, and I consider myself fortunate to have worked with our incredible teachers and staff.
I grew up in a neighboring area and I earned my teaching degree at U.W. Madison, my Master’s degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University, and my Principal Certification through Saint Mary’s University. I reside in the district with my husband and our two children. I am invested in our community and strive to make Adams County and our school system a place of growth and opportunity. This is the place my family proudly calls “home” and I look forward to our partnership together.
