Every Student. Every Opportunity. Every Day.
The Adams-Friendship Area School District is proud to serve students and families across our communities with a commitment to providing a high-quality education in a safe, welcoming and supportive learning environment.
Our purpose is simple: to prepare every student for a successful future.
Whether that future includes college, technical education, military service, apprenticeships or entering the workforce, we believe every student deserves opportunities to discover their strengths, develop their talents and build the knowledge and skills they'll carry throughout their lives.
We are proud to be an important part of the Adams-Friendship community and are committed to serving our students, families and community members with integrity, transparency and responsible stewardship.
Our Schools
The Adams-Friendship Area School District serves nearly 1,300 students from 4K through grade 12 through our elementary school and our middle-high school, with a districtwide transition to two school campuses currently underway as part of our long-term planning efforts.
Our schools provide learning environments where students are challenged academically, supported personally and encouraged to become engaged members of their school and community. More importantly, our schools are places where relationships matter. We know students learn best when they feel safe, supported and connected, and our dedicated staff work every day to build those meaningful relationships.
Learning That Prepares Students for Life
Learning looks different for every student. Some students discover a passion for science or mathematics. Others develop artistic talents, compete in athletics, perform in music or theatre, or find success through agriculture, manufacturing or skilled trades. The Adams-Friendship Area School District is committed to helping students explore those interests while preparing them for life after graduation.
Through strong academic programs, career and technical education, agriculture education, youth apprenticeships, dual credit opportunities and a wide range of extracurricular activities, students graduate with the confidence and skills needed to pursue their goals. Because success isn't one-size-fits-all.
Dedicated People. Meaningful Relationships.
Our greatest strength is our people. Every day, teachers, paraprofessionals, bus drivers, food service staff, custodians, coaches, office professionals and administrators work together to support students and create positive learning experiences. While each role looks different, every employee shares the same commitment: helping students succeed.
Those relationships extend beyond our classrooms. Families, volunteers, local businesses and community partners all play an important role in creating opportunities for students and strengthening our schools. Together, we are preparing the next generation of leaders, workers, neighbors and community members.
Responsible Stewardship
The Adams-Friendship Area School District recognizes that public education is an investment made by our community. We are committed to making thoughtful, responsible decisions with the resources entrusted to us while maintaining opportunities that help students learn, grow and succeed. District leaders continuously evaluate programs, operations and facilities to ensure taxpayer dollars are used efficiently and responsibly. That commitment includes careful financial planning, identifying operational efficiencies and making difficult decisions when necessary to preserve educational opportunities for current and future students.
Our goal is to balance responsible stewardship with a continued investment in the students and families we serve.
Looking Ahead
Education continues to evolve, and so do the needs of our students and community. As we look toward the future, the Adams-Friendship Area School District remains committed to listening, planning and working alongside our families and community members to ensure our schools continue preparing students for success. By building strong relationships, communicating openly and keeping students at the center of every decision, we are creating opportunities today that will benefit our community for generations to come.
